Are you IPv6 ready?

American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) have been warning that would be running out of publicly avaialable IPv4 addresses. Well, the address pool is now depleted and the world will soon turn up for IPv6.

There are some simple tests to see if your ISP and internet connection will support IPv6. All you need to do is visit one of these sites:

Safe Browsing

Today I'd like to share two tools that I have installed on my Chrome browser.

  1. HTTPS Everywhere
  2. DoNotTrackPlus

These two tools are a great add ons!

HTTPS Everywhere, Forces your browser to encript pages that are available in https. It's ideal to stop data from being delivered in plain text. Available for Chrome and Firefox

With DNT+, you are given a small tool in the tool bar to see what sites are tracking your information.  You can see by  visiting this site that Google analytics and adsense are the only two tracking devices.

Lets-Eat.ca

Lets-Eat.ca is a recent personal project that i've been working on.

It's still under some developement, but I'm excited to share it with you.

I am building it with Drupal, and have kept the look currently with it's default "garland" theme.

I'm making use of several modules to make this site interact with social networking sites, search engines, mapping systems and with visitors to the site.

Welcome to the blog..

We'll see where the blog leads us in the future, but for now here's a post!

Thanks for reading..
